Happy Monday!
A week at home?! What am I going to do with all of my free time?! Well, let me take you through my week!
Monday: Filming with Max Freeman for the Transition Zone (Click Here for FREE Trial). We did an expansion pack on how to play with lefties, against lefties, and as a lefty!
Tuesday: More filming with Max at the Lab for my YouTube channel!
Wednesday: Did you know that getting a tire patched at the dealership would take 6 hours?
Now you do, but I don't waste much time. Fortunately, I had my SLAMIT Focus, so I was able to crank out a bunch of great scripts for upcoming videos.
Otherwise, I probably would've killed somebody.
Thursday: You guessed it...more filming! This time it was with Jeff Troesch, the author of One Day Better.
More on that down below 👇
Friday: Picklepod with Lea Jansen. It was a spicy one!
Jenny and I also headed down to the famous South Congress bridge to watch the world's largest colony of urban bats come out to hunt. We finished the night with New Zealand-style ice cream from Zed's.

Both things are a MUST if you end up in Austin, TX!
Saturday: 297 ProXR paddles arrived at my apartment. Getting all of them in inventory was a PITA.
Shoot me a message if you're interested in helping me clear out my storage unit, haha!
Sunday: Vietnam planning! Jenny and I are headed to the PPA Asia tournament in Vietnam this upcoming week.
No PPA recap this week.
Instead, I have a recent video I thought you’d like:
Video Spotlight: Pro Pickleball Advice on How to Choose Your Paddle
Every January, pros start popping up with new paddles and new logos, and everyone assumes it's just a money grab.
Sometimes it is. But there's actually a lot more going on. From brands quietly exiting the pro game to a $10 million signing that changed everything, to the reason why what works for a pro could actually hurt your game.
In this video, I break down every major paddle switch of 2026, explain how pros actually choose their equipment (it's not what you think), and give you a straightforward framework for picking the right paddle for your game.
Quick Hitters:
As mentioned above…
I'm really excited about this.
Jeff Troesch is an ELITE mental coach. He's worked with plenty of pro athletes, Olympians, and pickleball players. In fact, I worked with him for a couple of years, and when I saw that he published One Day Better, I knew we had to get him in the Transition Zone to help our members.
Jeff and I went through about 6 hours of material on how to become more mentally disciplined, so you can be the best pickleball player you can be.
These lessons might not be edited for a bit, but in the meantime, if you haven't joined yet, use this link for a free 7-day trial!
Stay Legendary,
– Zane
P.S. As mentioned, I purchased 297 ProXR paddles! They're not the latest models, but they're very high-quality paddles, and I'm selling them for just $50!
And if you're interested in bulk orders, reply to this email, and we can work something out!
